I was honored to have been elected to represent Northeast Lincoln District 26 in 2012, and have fought for the priorities, needs, and concerns of the people in our district.
Supporting All Our Students
Parents and community members have shared their belief in providing dependable funding, exploring innovative approaches, and improving educational outcomes for all of our students. I agree, and have worked to keep our schools funded and voted to support students of all backgrounds and abilities.
Protecting Our Workers and Our Economy
Our neighbors understand that supporting workers’ rights and promoting tax fairness for Nebraskans are the cornerstones of a strong economy. I have fought to protect working families and their budgets; advocating for better wages and voting for $86 million for Lancaster County in property tax relief.
Investing in the Strength of our Neighborhoods
We know northeast Lincoln is remarkable in its unity and support of its community; we prioritize reinvesting in our neighborhoods and protecting those in our community. In the Legislature I voted to invest in local infrastructure, and introduced legislation to support the families of the police and firefighters that
keep us safe.
